We are all really happy to be supporting new charity, Send A Little Smile, which has been created to bring a little joy to people in tough times or when they are feeling overwhelmed.
Send A Little Smile is the brainchild of Hollie Hales-Whittaker, an amazing young woman who knows from personal experience what this feels like and how much it helps when someone reaches out to show they care.
‘Bag of Smiles’ recipients will receive a selection of treats and vouchers, intended as a pick me up. Nominations for someone to receive a Bag can be made on the new Send a Little Smile website, which was created pro-bono by MRD Web Design.
The charity’s work is dedicated to helping ease a little of life’s pain and bring a little joy, and strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance.
If anyone has vouchers or products that they would like to donate to the Smile bags, or would like to make a cash donation, please get in touch with Megan, she is the inaugural chairperson of the new charity or through the Send a Little Smile website or Facebook page.
The official launch of the new charity was held at Empire Coffee Roasters on 28 September, and was well attended by supporters, including the InHouse team.
