During a Saturday catch up in June, one friend and a mother & daughter duo planted the seeds of a business idea that has since grown to the size of a house.
Excited by the possibilities they swiftly formed InHouse Marketing, a niche service to help businesses get a sound, workable marketing strategy and plan followed up by hands-on support to get the job done.
The three marketing professionals each have their unique points of difference. Marise Gunderson is the corporate brand and product expert who’s returned from a career in Auckland, Megan Harris is well known locally for her work at EIT and Hawke’s Bay Tourism among others, and Jodi Dalzell’s experience locally and in Australia brings her eye for current trends and technologies.
Collectively the trio had seen a need in the small to medium business community for a marketing service that was affordable and down-to-earth, focusing on business needs and results at the forefront.
“It’s all about relationships”, explains Megan. “We’re into working with like-minded people and building strong partnerships that are both productive and fun.”
It’s the friendship of these three that underpins this mantra. “Over the years we have each built a strong network of contacts throughout the region. The fun part is now in bringing our skills together, and integrating marketing into every day for hard working business people. We want them to tap into our skills and use us as their in house team.” says Jodi.
With the InHouse Marketing website now launched, the team is ready to hear from any business who’d like to consider harnessing the power of marketing. They have a serious set of tools at the ready including a free Marketing “Warrant of Fitness” to get started.
