The story
BetterBytes is an emerging GreenIT startup with big opportunities in the sustainable tech space. Ahead of its time in New Zealand and APAC, their current focus is to help large organisations understand the environmental impact of their IT, and helping them shift the needle further in their ESG/CSR goals through IT footprint reduction. Their offering also shaves a lot off the corporate IT budget, so it’s a win/win.
InHouse first met these guys in 2022 and have been passionately supporting them from the sidelines ever since.
The comms & social media support
Eco tech start-ups are at the cutting edge by nature, so clear communication is needed to help new concepts be understood.
The business’ lead Jean-Philippe Ehret is also French, and while he speaks excellent English, having guidance and support with kiwi communication styles was going to provide confidence and save a lot of his time.

The result
Jean-Philippe and the team have been hugely positive of our support, and every piece of comms that goes out gets an enthusiastic nod and helps validate them in market. They have already achieved a successful pilot project with Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, added Digital Collage workshops to their offering, and have been attracting strong investor attention.
As BetterBytes’ social media and market presence grows, and awareness of their incredibly important offering comes to light in the right circles, we can’t wait for what comes next.
