A national distributor to the outdoor fabrics and screens trade, Rainbow Shade had been growing steadily but it was a highly competitive industry. Not being the biggest player in the market by a long stretch, they needed to play to their strengths.
After a workshop to determine their brand positioning and strategy, their values of QUALITY, SERVICE, INTEGRITY were reaffirmed with the business’ new owners. Knowing that their old website needed updating, we encouraged them to build a site that went beyond the functional, and provided a swathe of practical and inspirational tools to help their customers use and sell their products.
Our role in the website process was to create a brief that would inform the web designers how the site needed to function from a marketing perspective. We arranged for three quotes, and helped them select a provider. In this case the choice was Hawke’s Bay developers Quest, who are skilled at creating B2B websites. We’d worked with them before, we knew they’d deliver value, and we weren’t disappointed.
We helped by managing the project, pulling together all of the images and copy that were scattered everywhere, and became the client’s interface with the web developer – saving them hours and hours of time and headache.
